Shana Reiss



Shana Reiss, our Principal Architect, is a LEED Accredited Professional (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) with a background in implementation of green design principles and a desire to promote positive stewardship practices in the design, construction, and longevity of a project.

Shana is also NCARB certified, meaning she holds and maintains a certification from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. This certification enables licensure reciprocity in any state.

Shana earned a Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo–the top-ranked architecture undergraduate program in the nation. She went on to receive a Master in Business Administration from Cal Poly's AACSB accredited Orfalea College of Business and ranked in the top 10 percent of MBA students nationwide.

Shana has extensive experience in designing wineries and has been involved in both domestic and international projects. Her technical expertise, project and team management skills, attention to detail, and precision are a valuable asset to any architectural project. 

Shana has had the opportunity to participate in humanitarian projects in Tanzania and Uganda. These projects have enabled her to share her professional skills and global positioning to bring services to deserving communities in Sub-Saharan Africa. The primary and secondary schools that she has designed provide African children a venue for education and personal development, which in turn creates a system to transform communities.

For me, architecture as a business is a vehicle for greater world impact. The technical skills that I have been fortunate to develop, practice, and perfect improve the product I am able to deliver to those in need.
